Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh: A Rohingya youth due to lack of treatment is at the life-threatening situation after he lost one of his legs in an accident at a makeshift in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, reports a member of VOR today (31 July 2019).
A Rohingya youth named Abdul Rashid had a serious accident at Alikhali makeshift and in the tragic incident, he lost his one of his legs.
The accident survivor was immediately taken to IOM hospital at Alikhhali and was treated there.
The incident happened before a month and due to his deteriorating condition IOM hospital discharged him.
Now Rashid is in serious condition at his shelter at A2 camp of Ledah and he still could not recover from the accident injuries.
According to his family members, due to lack of needed medical treatment, his condition deteriorated, leaving him to death bed now. The victim originally hails from Haitallhfara of Maungdaw Township.

The victim is also a genocide survivor, who had to flee his homeland Arakan in late 2017.
Rashid along with his family are now pleading to international NGOs and individuals to raise their hands of kindness toward his situation, so that his life can be saved.
