Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh: Rohingyas refuges have kept continuing their hunger strike and refused to receive depleted ration amount from WFP on 3rd July 2019 at refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, reports Rohingya refugees.

Due to the following circumstances, Rohingya refugees have started hunger strike three days ago and is still on-going.
Today, third July 2019, Rohingya women including children and men waited an entire day, in this heavy rain, at WFP’s office since morning 8 am to 5 pm, eventually, they had to return to their destructed shelters, which were destroyed by heavy rain, without any ration.

Even in this emergency situation no higher officer from WFP or UNHCR arrived to talk to Rohingya refugees.
Rohingya parents said their children are starving from last 2-3 days, if anyone goes through any unacceptable situation, then WFP will be responsible for that.
