Kyauktaw, Arakan: Floods sweeped through 40 villages in Kyauktaw Township since 13th July 2019, affecting thousands of civillians including the isolated Rohingya, reports suffering Rohingya today (15 July 2019) from a flooded village.
In total 40 villages of Kyauktaw Township no villages was heard to be out of flood and its water have sumberged the homes as well.

In this natural disaster no INGOs or government relief agencies were seen in supporting the affected Rohingya families in their immediate needs.
Due to deep depth of flood water in the villages, Rohingya were seen to be travelling via small boats on the main roads of villages.

Since 2012, hardly few Rohingya villages remained populated after the Burmese state-sponsored violence forced hundreds of families to confined concentration camps named as Internally Displaced People’s Camp (IDP).

Now the few remaining villagers are left in misery and are in complete isolation from the external world, facing severe inhumane situations till today.
