AA attacked the Horithulla Rohingya village in Myo Oo Ward in Maungdaw Township, resulting in three Rohingyas being injured on June 7, 2024.
Seventeen members of AA, suffering from starvation, forcibly entered Horithulla Rohingya village in Myo Oo Ward in Maungdaw on June 6. They forcibly took rice from Rohingya houses, and while they were eating, the Myanmar military attacked them around noon, resulting in one Rohingya dead and several injured.
โAfter that, the Myanmar military dropped bombs from jet fighters at the location where the AA members were, situated at the northern side of Horithulla village, near a pool, around 4:24 in the evening, and then the AA members retreated towards Thi Hu Hla Kyen,โ said a resident.
In response, AA attacked the village with drones around 7 in the evening on June 6, dropping bombs beside the mosque in Horithulla village in Myo Oo Ward in Maungdaw, resulting in three Rohingyas being injured.
The Rohingya villagers of Horithulla and the surrounding villages are trapped and unable to evacuate due to the heavy clashes ongoing between AA and the Myanmar military in Maungdaw Township.
