Four innocent Rohingya civilians were seriously wounded by heavy weapon fire in Bo Hmu Ward, Maungdaw Township, Arakan State, Myanmar, on June 26th at around 5 o’clock in the morning.
The Burmese militaryβs Nakaka (05) battalion fired heavy weapons, and one landed at a home in Bo Hmu Ward, causing an explosion that resulted in serious injuries to four Rohingya.
A resident reported that the heavy weapons were launched around 5 o’clock in the morning by the Nakaka (05) battalion. Two of the injured are in critical condition.
The resident also mentioned that efforts were made to transport the injured to Bangladesh for treatment, but they were unable to reach the border, and the condition of the injured worsened.
The Rohingya are being killed, injured, and forced to flee from their original villages due to the ongoing conflict between the Arakan Army (AA) and the Myanmar military in Maungdaw Township, Arakan State.
