One Rohingya was killed, and two Rohingyas were seriously injured in Tha Yet Pyin Rohingya village, the nearest village to Phone Nyo Leik Rohingya village in Buthidaung Township, on May 5th, 2024.
A source said, “One Rohingya boy, about 12 years old, was killed in the clash between the Arakan Army (AA) and the Myanmar military on May 5th. The boy resided in Tha Yet Pyin Rohingya village in Buthidaung Township.”
He recounted, “Two more Rohingyas, also about 12 years old, were seriously wounded in the fight between the AA and the Myanmar military on May 5th, 2024. They are also residents of Tha Yet Pyin Rohingya village, the nearest village to Phone Nyo Leik Rohingya village in Buthidaung Township.”
The two injured Rohingya children are in critical condition as artillery fell on them, exposing their intestines. They may die due to the exposure of their intestines.
