Many Rohingya, residents of Ka Kyet Bet Rohingya village and Baggona Rohingya village in Ali Chaung track, Buthidaung Township, Arakan State, Myanmar, have died and been injured in the fighting between the AA and Myanmar military on May 11, 2024.
A source said, ‘A heavy fight erupted between the AA and Myanmar military on the morning of Saturday, May 11, and many Rohingyas were killed and many injured during the clash.’
Four Rohingya were killed and nearly 37 were injured during the clashes between the AA and Myanmar military on the morning of Saturday, May 11.
The source recounted, ‘All the fatalities and casualties are inhabitants of Ka Kyet Bet Rohingya village and Baggona Rohingya village in Ali Chaung track, and they all sought refuge in the Military Battalion in Maing Na village as their villages and homes were ignited by the AA on May 10.’
The AA attacked the place where Rohingyas, residents of Ka Kyet Bet Rohingya village and Baggona Rohingya village, took shelter, resulting in four deaths and nearly 37 injuries.
Most of the casualties may die as they are heavily injured in several parts of their bodies.
