On the morning of August 2nd, three Rohingya residents from Ward No. 01 and Ward No. 02 in Maungdaw Township were seriously wounded in a drone attack by the Arakan Army (AA).
The AA deliberately targeted Wards No. 01 and 02 with drone bombs. Two bombs hit the house of Mohammad Nasir, a resident of Ward No. 01, resulting in serious injuries to three individuals, including a boy and a girl.
In a separate attack, the AA targeted BEHS No. 2 in Myo Ma Taung Ward in Maungdaw Township around 11:45 AM on August 2nd. One Rohingya was seriously wounded, and the bomb attack caused the roof and walls of the school to collapse.
