In a tragic incident, many Rohingya were killed and sustained serious injuries in a bomb attack by the Arakan Army (AA) in Ward No. 01, POE gate, Maungdaw Township.
The AA launched the attack using drop bombs, resulting in the immediate death of five Rohingya and leaving more than ten others with severe injuries. The victims were in the area to collect rations for their families, as directed by the Myanmar military.
The residents of Maungdaw downtown are currently facing numerous challenges, including severe shortages of food, medicine, and other essential supplies.
This incident underscores the dire situation and continuous struggles faced by the Rohingya community in Maungdaw Township.
