On the night of June 21st, 2024, at around 10 PM, the Arakan Army (AA) attacked Maung Ni Rohingya village in Maungdaw Township, Arakan State, Myanmar, using drones.
The drone was launched from Pan Taw Pyin Rohingya village and dropped bombs on Maung Ni Rohingya village, injuring several residents.
The drone bomb hit the house of Ruhul Amin, injuring three people. The injured have been identified as Ruhul Amin, Mohammad Yonus (son of Abubokor Siddique), and another individual.
Due to the ongoing and intense fighting between the AA and Myanmar military, the majority of villagers from Maung Ni Rohingya village have evacuated towards Maungdaw downtown.
