Buthidaung: Twenty Four Rohingya houses were torched down in a village of Buthidaung township at daylight on 2nd March 2019, reports a villager.
At around 2:30 PM a group of unidentified people (Possibly Burmese Border Guard Police (BGP) or Rakhine Extremist as localsβ suspects) torched down twenty-four Rohingya houses in Kun Taing Nar Yar Gone village of Kun Taing village tract.
The fire massively turned the targeted houses and the properties inside to complete ashes, leaving the villagers and residents of the houses extremely terrified and helpless.
After a few hours of severe fire locals managed to extinguish the fire and until now culprits behind the planned incident could not be identified.
Beside the inhumane fire incident, hundreds of innocent Rohingya are facing food and winter clothing shortage now due to the severe restrictions of movement and livelihood activities.
In battling this military-made starving situation villagers are in need of emergency aid and protection and they are looking forward to INGOs and international communities in minimizing their sufferings soon.
