Rohingya houses in Shwe Zar Rohingya village, Maungdaw Township, were reduced to ashes during a mutual combat between Burmese Genocidal Militaries (BGM) and another group in Arakan state, Myanmar, on June 30th at around 2:20 PM.

The owners of the houses have been identified as Nurul Hoque, his eldest son, Ibrahim, and a neighbor.

Four houses were completely burned down, and some were damaged by heavy weaponry in Kun Kara hamlet, Shwe Zar Rohingya village, on June 30th.

A resident stated, “The Myanmar military intentionally fired heavy weapons, causing four houses to burn completely and others to be damaged.”

He added, “The fire didn’t spread further because it started to rain heavily, which extinguished the flames.”

Both the Arakan Army (AA) and the Myanmar military are intentionally targeting Rohingyas, using their villages as battlefields in Maungdaw Township, Arakan State, Myanmar.
