The horrific accounts of Atrocities committed by the Burmese Armed forces are still floating in the refugee camps, where victims are still traumatized and in deep grievances. Here are some of the horrific accounts of genocide survivors below and they still yearn for justice.
Muhammed Anas S/O Md Hussain and Noor Jahan, 20 now sheltering in Camp no. 27, hailing from Borgojibil village of Maungdaw Township was shot by Burmese armed forces in late 2017. Although his wounds of gunshot healed in this one and a half years but he says he does not want to go back to Burma without justice.
In the same camp another Rohingya named Jafor Alam S/O Abdus salaam and Kurshida, 22 was also similarly shot by Burmese genocidal forces in late 2017. He too hails from Borgojibil village of Maungdaw and now awaits towards justice.
Another inhumane story from the same village was recalled from a rape survivor named Fatema Khatun D/O Muhammed Anwar Mia and Nuru Khatun, 26. She was raped by Burmese armed forces after her husband named Khairul Amin was shot to death. She now shelters at Camp no. 27, although her physical wounds healed but her traumatized experiences and grievances for her husband looks like everlasting to her.
From the same village, Noor Muhammed S/O Sabir Ahmed and Noor Zahan, 28 was also shot by Burmese armed forces and he is also sheltering in Camp no. 27 since his arrival to Bangladesh in late 2017.
Similar accounts of another gunshot were narrated by Kolimullah S/O Md Yeasin and Gulbahar, 19 hailing from Sendifara village of Maungdaw Township. He too was shot by the Burmese military and now shelters at Camp no. 27.
Another Rohingya teenage was also shot by Burmese armed forces in The Ra Oo village of Maungdaw Township. The victim named Nawab Sharif S/O Harun Rashid and Nayema, 18 also shelters in the same camp.
These are few accounts of genocidal crimes collected recently among the 43, 000 gunshot and 18,000 rape victims, which were committed on Rohingya by Burmese genocidal forces since late 2017. Although they are sheltering by holding their grievances and scars on their body silently, but they too look towards attaining justice and the rights they deserve as a human on this earth.
