Cox’s Bazaar: One Rohingya child died and two got critically injured in Balukhali-1 makeshift camp of Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh today (6th May 2019), reports a local.
The tragic incidence occurred at around 8:30 AM in camp-10, where a landslide occurred and killed one Rohingya child.

In the incident as soon as the landslide fell on the three children, one child died immediately in the scene and the other two were rushed into Clinic by the nearby Rohingya.
The deceased child was identified to be Saiful Islam S/O Aubdu loti, 8, sheltering at Block: G-4 of the same camp.

The two injured Rohingya was identified to Wohidah Begum D/O Nor Yoom, 3 from Block: Z-D-11 and Wahad S/O Nor Yoom, 6.
The injured are currently under treatment at clinic provided by Turkey.
Earlier on 4th May several Rohingya shelters were destructed in Cyclone Fani at Musoni makeshift camp no. 26 of Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh.

UNHCR, IOM, WFP and other INGOs were seen in alerting situation to combat the immediate humanitarian needs.
