Fire broke out early Thursday in E Block, Nayapara refugee camp in Coxβs Bazar burning down over 550 refugee shelters were damaged, leaving around 3,500 persons affected. Around 150 shops and an NGO facility were also damaged.
The affected families are supported in clearing the site with the provision of shelter materials, winter clothes, hot meals, and medical care to the affected refugee population.

Some people are injured during the fire fighting but no death has been reported so far the cause of fire has has not been determined yet.
