Rohingya residents of Maungdaw, located in Arakan State, Myanmar, are being stopped and inspected by the Myanmar military while traveling through the main roads.
The military has set up inspection points in four locations within Maungdaw: Myo Ma Ka Yin Taung, Pantaw Pyin Bridge, Ward No. 02, and Shwe Zar.
Various groups of Myanmar military personnel are positioned in different areas of the village, conducting stops and inspections of passersby.
Bicycles , including cars, motorcycles, and smartphones, are also subject to inspection by the military.
Movement restrictions have been imposed on Maungdaw residents following orders from the Arakan Army (AA) for them to leave the downtown area. The Rohingya community is in a critical condition and urgently needs protection from the international community.
