Forced labor of Rohingya has been imposed by the Arakan Army (AA) in Buthidaung Township, Arakan State, Myanmar.
Rohingyas residing in Buthidaung Township are being compelled to work for the AA.
The Rohingya villagers from Phone Nyo Leik, Young Chaung, Ah Twin Nga The, Sein Hnyin Pya, and Tha Bai Taung villages in Buthidaung Township are being subjected to forced labor by the AA.
The Rohingya villagers are divided: some are used for the establishment of camps, some for transporting materials, and others as watchmen of the camps by the AA in Buthidaung Township, Arakan State, Myanmar.
βThe Rohingyas who were displaced and sought refuge in other villages are asked to work as daily laborers but are paid nothing after working the entire day,β said a victim.
