Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh: Two Rohingya youths were beaten ruthlessly and were seen to be taken in authorities’ vehicle in a makeshift camp of Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh on 4th August 2019, reports a member of VOR.
Bangladeshi Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two Rohingya youths from camp-4 of Kutupalong makeshift camp at around 2:30 pm.
They were fiercely beaten to comminuted fracture before arresting and then they were put in the van of RAB, according to a Rohingya refugee who witnessed the scene.
Until now no one could trace where they are and are still incommunicado.
They are identified to be Muhammed Karim,30, and his younger brother Anowar Hussein,17, S/O Syed Karim and Rafika Begum sheltering at B-1 Caritas, Extention in camp-4 of Kutupalong, Cox’s Bazar.
According to nearby Rohingya, they were innocent youths and reason behind their sudden arrest is yet untraceable.
