On January 28, AA reportedly arrested six Rohingya eye-witnesses in the case of the rape and murder of a 10-year-old Rohingya girl hailing from Sin Thei Pyin, Sango Taung Village Tract, Buthidaung Township Rakhine State.
A Rohingya in the condition of anonymity said two members of a nearby AA camp raped and shot dead 10-year-old Zainukar Bibi, who went to pick plums from a mountain situated in the east of Sin Thei Pyin village.
To refute the case, six Rohingyas including two girls from Sin Thei Pyin village, who found AA members’ hats, wine bottles and other hard evidences at the spot of the rape, were arrested by AA on January 30.
The detainees are – Adu Shukur,40, son of Sayed Kasem and his 8-year-old daughter Noor Hasina; Shahidullah,35, son of Adul Hamid and his six-year-old daughter; Monora , 58, daughter of Jormil Hussein and Adu Salam son,60, Adu Zaw Lil.
Since the time AA came out to control the region, many Rohingyas have been arrested with racial and religious discrimination and of them, not a single Rohingya has been released yet.
Locals say AA is not committing genocide against the Rohingya through violence but committing the genocide by creating occasional incidents that pave the ways to arrest, torture and kill the Rohingya Muslims.
The criminal group AA, moreover, holds monthly meetings and weekly football matches to deceive the Rohingya and cause bloodshed among them, locals added.
